So, here we are again.
Every once in a while my most Dearly Beloved rediscovers their yearning for a webring and I find myself compelled to tinker a little more with this place. The trouble then, of course, is that I have little to no grasp of HTML or CSS. I've picked up this template from darling Repth to practice fiddling about with styles and containers; mostly just to see how something that already works can be tweaked little by little. A hexcode here, an image embed there. In poking around, I may begin to glimpse how these glowing lines contort the digital fabric on the other side of the console.
We shall begin with these little diary pages and then hopefully expand outwards upwards, building on more pages as we see fit. The finishing lines currently lies at reworking the homepage into some semblance of respectability.
It is becoming apparent, though, how potent the capabilities of this medium are. Personal expression is suddenly the entire game rather than the fun side quest allowed in other online spaces.
I've never had the place all to myself before.
